Woody’s 2009 Skate Competition

Skate Competition at Woody’s! This is the last chance in 2009 to rub your skills on everybody’s faces.
Swag giveaways, entertainment and food will be available on site…
11 to 7 pm, $10 to compete. Pre-registration encouraged but not required.

Beaufort 10/18
Went to Beaufort sunday. Did a little filming with Brian and Taylor. This is the out come of that. Not bad for having a dirty lens, forgetting to take the stabilizer off and the 200 kids being there. In other news my ankle is all healed up! But I still wont be able to really skate for another month.

Woodys: Dont Call It A Come Back
This was my first day back skating and filming. I thought I was ready to start pushing agian, but I need to wait a couple of weeks before I get back to it. I still have some swelling going but once that goes away i'll be back. Got a quick edit of woodys skatepark put together so enjoy.

One Week Later...
It's Been a week since my fracture. I had a doctors appointment monday, they told me since the fracture was still in place I could wear and air boot. Doc says its usually around 6 weeks to heal up, so 1 down 5 to go. Everything seemed to be going good until I checked out my toes today and their bruised has well! I started rubbing tiger balm all over my foot and it seems to work. In a couple of hours my toes are almost back to a normal color. (excuse my jacked up feet)

Skate and Destroy My Ankle
Good day at beaufort until I decided to step up the gnar. I was trying to transfer between a quarter pipe and mini ramp. Landed it, even got a photo. Then I thought I should do one more for good measure. When I landed I slipped out and sat on my ankle.
Woke up today, Didn't feel any better. Made my way to the ER. After checking in, wheel chair rides, x rays, shot to the hip, ace bandages, crutches, 80$ I found out I fractured my Fibula. I have to go to a specialist Monday morning to find out more.

Canon Resurrected
So after about two weeks of finding out that my camera was on its way out. Today I turned it on for the hell of it and EVERYTHING WORKS! It's a miracle! So Im gonna film on this non-stop until it blows up!

My Canon is on the way out the door. The play back features are starting to go. The play, pause, fast forward, rewind, menu buttons dont work, and you cant eject the tape. The weird thing is that record mode still works. It might be a cheap fix but for me its time to move on. Im gonna be looking in to buying a Sony vx2000 or 2100 in the next couple of months. So until then ill mostly be posting photos from Erik and Ill be taking some on my 35mm and maybe some video from my point and shoot....(top secret project)
